Attention Chillicothe High School Students and families: The last week of the 2016-2017 school year is May 22nd through May 26th. May 22nd and May 23rd are regular school days. You will turn in your chromebooks and clean out your lockers on May 22nd. On May 23rd you will review exam expectations and schedules as well as learn if your exam exemption requests were approved. Just because you submitted form for exemptions does NOT mean you are exempt from any exams. It must be approved: lists of approvals will be posted on the CHS attendance office window on May 23rd.
The days of May 24th-May 26th are exam days at Chillicothe High School. The bell schedule will be altered these 3 days to provide our students with an adequate amount of time to complete their exams on each given day. If your son or daughter is on time and takes every exam when they should the school day for students will end each day on exam days at 11:10 am. Look to page 17 of the CHS Student Handbook or the CHS Website for further information. Final Exams are worth 20% of a student’s final grade in all courses so unless students are exempt from taking an exam they should be prepared to do well on each exam they are required to take. Contact the CHS main office if you have questions about exams or the altered scheduling that it takes to complete these End of Course Assessments.
