ACT consists of numerous local agencies and both the Chillicothe City School District and the Ross-Pike ESD. The mission of ACT is to provide quality services locally to children with autism and their families. Some of those services include evaluations, follow-up in-home services to families, clinical counseling, service planning and coordination, Service and Support Administration case management, training and presentation events, and Parent Support Groups. The agencies involved with ACT have pledged to work together in order to provide specialized services for the autism community in Ross County. As a result of nearly a year of planning, full evaluations can now be done locally and expeditiously instead of waiting for an appointment in Columbus, sometimes 4-6 months. Recommendations for the family following the evaluations will be written to cover those services that have been and will be developed in Chillicothe and Ross County so families are not required to travel long distances to gain access to services. Parents/Caretakers will have the opportunity to make their own choices from the ACT services available to them. If you have any questions regarding ACT, please feel free to call me at 740-701-3835.</span ></div > </div > <div data-block="true" data-editor="er7ur" data-offset-key="5d9gm-0-0" style="color: rgb(20, 24, 35);
