CMS students conducted a mock election and had almost 360 voters!
Middle school students participating in a mock presidential election put on by Mr. Hatem and Mr. Baker's 8th grade American History Classes. Each student was required to register to vote, sign in to prove their presence, and cast their ballot. They even received "I Voted" stickers!
CMS students were not alone in their studying of the election process: several of the elementary classrooms held similar educational opportunities whether it was with the Federal Candidates or their own classroom's candidates performing campaigning, strategizing, and voting. It's great to see our students learning about the importance of voting and understanding the process through which our country works to create a change of government. Great job Little Cavs!
