Celebrating CCSD Teachers and Staff

Celebrating Teachers

Chillicothe City School District is proud of our staff and teachers who have educated and guided our students through another successful school year! Schools across the Chillicothe School District celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week from Monday, May 2 to Friday, May 6, honoring our teachers and staff members for all they do for our students each day.

Chillicothe STEM Preschool

Each day during the week, school staff were celebrated in delicious and thoughtful ways. In addition to family donations and community-sponsored drawings, staff members received gifts correlating to different daily themes:

  • Monday = "You are quite PASTA-bly the very best!"

  • Staff were treated to Olive Garden and gifted clipboards with pencil art.

  • Tuesday = "Taco 'bout an awesome team!"

  • Staff enjoyed food from Casa del Taco and were given candles for being “scent-sational” teachers.

  • Wednesday = "DONUT forget that you are amazing!"

  • Staff received donuts and tea from First Capital Nutrition, in addition to umbrellas – "Rain or shine, you are the greatest of all time!

  • Thursday = "Sip, Sip hooray - coffee is on me today!"

  • Staff were treated to Paper City Coffee and High Five Cupcakes, because "sweet staff like you take the cupcake!" They also received dinner from the Chillicothe First Church of God during parent-teacher conferences.

  • Friday = "Any way you slice it, we are very thankful for you!"

  • Staff enjoyed pizza and were given soap to show how our students are “in good hands” with them.

CPS teachers were celebrated with daily themed snacks, in addition to a hand treatment from a local Mary Kay consultant and personal gifts with adjectives to describe each staff member from students and staff.
