The Welcome Committee at Worthington Elementary was organized to assist students who are new to our school, to ensure their transition to Worthington Elementary is a smooth and enjoyable one.

Members of the Welcome Committee are responsible for introducing the new student to their class and teacher, giving a tour of the building, going to lunch/recess with the new student, and assisting in any way they can to make sure the new student’s first few days at Worthington Elementary are a pleasant and positive experience.

Students selected for the Welcome Committee have demonstrated leadership qualities, exhibit a great attitude, have excellent behavior and are good representatives of our school. It is a privilege and honor for a child to serve on our Welcome Committee and their parents should be very proud of their child for this opportunity and accomplishment.
