As part of our Leader in Me program, some Worthington Elementary teachers conducted Student-Led Conferences for Parent-Teacher conferences. The students lead the conferences with their parents. The student’s leadership notebook is reviewed by the student with his/her parents illustrating his/her success in school. The leadership notebook includes our building mission statement, class mission statement, and the students goals and accomplishments. Students are expected to keep track of their learning and progress. Student led conferences are another avenue for students to demonstrate leadership and take more ownership in their learning.
