The Chillicothe Cavaliers are proud to recognize the achievements of another Cavalier featured as a Chris Spielman McDonald’s Scholar Athlete of the Week in this week’s issue of Chris Spielman’s TWIF.  Ryan Mathis, a Junior, who plays the Quarterback position for the Cavaliers. was recognized in this week’s edition of the Chris Spielman’s The Week In Football  for his work on the football field and in the classroom.  Currently a 3.6 Scholar Athlete,  Ryan would like to play college football and major in sports medicine. Ryan stated: “When it comes to the quarterback position, the person I have to admire is Tim Tebow. He’s one of those guys who loves to compete and go up against all odds. Watching him play gives me inspiration to work hard and embrace challenges. What I admire most about Tebow, though, is the way he leads a team. He’s an incredible person on and off the field and every single person can take something away from him.”
