Reflections from the Iditarod

Old News, Worthington School News 1 Comment

Miles Oyer reflected on following the Iditarod racers across their trek in Alaska: “I am a student from Worthington Elementary in Mrs. Hornyak’s class, Room 10. Each one of us followed a different musher. Over the month, we wrote letters to our mushers and I was the first student to receive my stuff back from my musher, [she also gave me a bootie]. Our class followed and studied the Iditarod for over a month. We used our math skills and reading skills when we followed our mushers Mrs. Hornyak and Mrs. Robinett wants to see if you can post this on the district website? Thank You, Miles Oyer.” Thanks for this report Miles!
