The 2012 CHS Softball team placed fifth for overall grade point average for softball teams across the state of Ohio. In an effort to reward student-athletes that excel both in the classroom and on the softball field, the OHSFSCA honors an entire team for their academic excellence. These prestigious teams will represent some of the most distinguished young leaders in the state. It is a great honor for the student-athlete, the team,  Coach Phillips, and Chillicothe High School. All players on the varsity team who will receive a varsity letter, for the current season, were used to determine the overall GPA. The GPA that is submitted was the player’s GPA attained for their entire high school career to date. Congratulations to the Lady Cavs on an outstanding season on the field and in the classroom.
