June 1st brought the end of the school year at CMS 2.  We ended the day and the year with our final Cavalier of the Month Assembly and a Talent Show.  The final 10 Cavs of the month were announced and received their awards.  These students showed academic or behavior improvement or were just great all around students.

The day ended with 23 sixth graders sharing their talents with the classmates, teachers, and loved ones.  We had a group that performed a cheer mix, vocalists, keyboarding, guitar playing, and dancing.  The audience appreciated the effort and courage it took these young performers to get up in front of their peers and perform.  Thanks to Mrs. Hite, Mrs. Parks, and Mr. Beverly for working with the students during practices and auditions.
