On Wednesday, August 15th, Freshman Orientation will be held at Chillicothe High School from 8 am to 1 pm.  Students should be dropped off at the Chillicothe Middle School entrance, where incoming freshman will sign in, be assigned to a group, and their freshman class pictures will be taken from 8-9 am.  At orientation freshman will be given an introduction to expectations as a student of CHS, class schedules and locker assignments will be distributed, and a lunch of pizza and pop will be provided.  Freshmen should bring their color card (it was in their letter) to speed up check in. Reminder, all Freshmen will take their school photo during registration.

Also on Wednesday, August 15th a new student orientation for all students new to CHS, (but who are not incoming freshman) will be held from 1:45-3 pm.  Students will be given an introduction to expectations as a student of CHS and tours of the facility.

The evening of the Wednesday, August 15th from 7-8:30 parents of incoming freshman are invited to attend the Freshman Class Parent Meeting in the CHS cafeteria where a presentation will be given and any and all questions will be discussed and answered.  Tours of the facility will also be provided by the CHS Student Council so feel free to bring your son or daugther and his or her schedule with you.

If any new incoming student cannot attend on August 15th then a make up orientation will be provied on August 20th from 10-11 am.  Students should arrive at the CHS Main Office where they will be given a tour of the facility that will include the location of their locker and class on their course schedule.
