Dear Chillicothe Residents:

The Transportation Department of Chillicothe City Schools takes pride in the fact that we transport the most precious cargo to and from schools everyday, and we as bus drivers take our position very seriously.

We are excited to add Pioneer School to our fleet this year and are looking forward to meeting our new students.

We work really hard to keep safety our number one priority and feel we have succeeded very well.  Drivers have a tremendous responsibility to keep their eyes on the road and to keep the students on the bus safe. In doing so bus drivers are constantly training in the summer and during the school year to make this possible. We are asking parents to talk with your children about following the bus rules, which every parent will receive at the beginning of the school year, and have your child report to the bus driver when there may be a problem.

We hope that you and your children had a wonderful summer together and are ready to come back for a great 2012-2013 school year.
