We have had a great first week back at school, and we’re excited to introduce a very great and very furry new Cavalier! 🐶💙
Today was a big milestone for Brutus, our certified therapy dog, and his handler, Mrs. Nancy Arledge.
Brutus’ journey to this moment has been a two-year process of training and preparation with Pet Partners International. Under Mrs. Arledge’s guidance, Brutus completed specialized training and testing to become a certified therapy dog. Together, they learned how to navigate busy environments, bring calm to stressful moments, and provide comfort in safe and positive ways. From practicing in noisy spaces to passing rigorous evaluations, their teamwork has been the key to Brutus’ success.
Brutus will now be spending Fridays at Chillicothe Middle and High School, where he’ll offer comfort, encouragement, and plenty of tail wags to students and staff. 🐾✨
