Today some of our volleyball players had the opportunity to give back in a very special way as they volunteered their time with our littlest Cavaliers at preschool! 🏐💙
Campbell, Josie, Kiera, and Sydnee helped introduce the basics of volleyball during gym class and showed our future Cavaliers what it means to be part of something bigger than yourself. They didn’t just demonstrate skills — they demonstrated leadership, kindness, patience, and the heart of our program.
We always talk about what we do on the court… but what makes me the proudest is what our girls do off the court. Investing in our community, mentoring younger students, and representing Cavalier volleyball with character and class — that’s the real win.
So proud to be their coach.💙🥰

Today, they represented our school at the Gallia Vinton ESC, presenting their work on integrating STEM and computational thinking into the classroom.
As part of the Igniting Computer Science Cohort, these two have utilized the TeachCS grant to bring cutting-edge tech and capstone projects to our students. We are so proud of their dedication to preparing our kids for the future!

We were led in the Pledge of Allegiance by a group of upstanding Chillicothe Primary School students! Principal Dustin England gave a presentation recognizing Chillicothe Primary School staff for their hard work and dedication towards getting CPS STEM-Designated, as well as highlighted some of the programs that set CPS apart. We are so grateful for our staff at Chillicothe Primary School, as well as our STEM facilitators and Literacy Coaches, who make it possible to give our students unique, enriching, and insightful experiences that they will carry with them throughout their education!
We thanked and recognized our Board of Education members, in honor of School Board Recognition Month in January. Thank you to our board members, Dwight Garrett, Shawn Porter, President Ryan Wade, Joe Spaulding, and Bill Bonner.

Our youngest learners get hands on with Lego coding Express Trains. While programming, they learn how robots read the world around them using sensors. 🚂 🤖
1st graders progress to block coding with a Bluetooth connection to Root robots, with a 1:1 student to robot ratio. 🙌
In 2nd grade, students advance further into block coding, using code to draw with Root robots. 🎨

They are ready to cause mayhem all over town….where are they going next?

We want to shoutout our amazing resource officers: Tim Boltenhouse, Julie Preston, and Darren Hall!

If there are any cancellations or rescheduled meetings, we will announce those updates in a separate post.

This group is special! They continue to find ways to win, come together as one, compete against anyone on the other side of the court and come out victorious! This group has been an honor to have in our program Future Cavs Basketball, we wish them well in Middle School next year!

Let’s talk about TOUGH.
We filled only HALF of the weight classes… and still finished TOP 5 AS A TEAM
That’s not luck….that’s grit, heart, and straight-up determination.
Every kid who stepped on the mat showed fight, resilience, and Cav pride. They competed hard, backed each other, and proved you don’t need a full lineup to make a BIG statement.
So proud of the effort, the attitude, and the way this group represented.
"Pretty awesome job" is honestly an understatement.
Way to battle, Cav wrestlers!

Your kindness and support help ensure our students have what they need to feel confident, prepared, and ready to learn. We are so grateful for community partners like you who continue to make a difference in the lives of our kids. Thank you for investing in our school family! 💙
