Chillicothe had a big weekend in sports! First, we’d love to announce that Gabby Maranzana placed 35th at the State Cross Country meet! This is a huge accomplishment and we are so proud! Chillicothe Boys Soccer also played against DeSales in the regional finals. The game was hard fought, with a score 1-1 going into double overtime. The game ended in a shootout, and while DeSales won, we are infinitely proud of how far this team has come this season! We truly have some star athletes!

October 10th is The Great Apple Crunch Day, which is an opportunity to encourage everyone to eat apples as a snack and to support locally grown foods like Ross County apples. Ms. Kline's Family and Consumer Sciences class celebrated Apple Crunch with OSU Extension. Lisa Barlage and Ryan Kline, both FCS educators, spoke to the students about apples and conducted a lab with them. Students made Green Monster Smoothies, Apple Nachos, Apple Bacon Grilled Cheese, and Nut Butter and Apple Pockets.

We'd like to thank all of our custodians and maintenance workers for keeping our buildings clean and running. It is because of you that our students have a clean and safe environment to learn in, and our teachers have a welcoming environment to teach! If you see your custodians out and about today, be sure to thank them!
