We’d like to thank the First Capital Rotary for supporting two very important projects here at CCSD - Lisa Clark received $1500 for her literacy program at CMS, and Tabitha Muse received $1600 for her Project School Tools Initiative!
We greatly appreciate First Capital Rotary’s continued support of our students!

Wow! We couldn’t have asked for a better Homecoming Game! We’d like to congratulate our newly crowned Homecoming King and Queen - Mason Brown and Addy Mendel! 👑
It was also alumni night for both cheer and band. Everyone had an awesome time. 📣🥁
The football team had a great win against Miami Trace, with a score of 28 - 25! 🏈
We are looking forward to tonight’s Homecoming Dance. Remember, the dance will be from 8PM - 11PM. Students will enter through the side doors by the Cox Gym. 💙

Here is the schedule for tonight and tomorrow's homecoming festivities!

And finally…we have our senior hallway! 💚
Everyone did a great job this year!

Beware the haunted forest (junior hallway)! 🖤

The sophomore hallway is looking good! Stay tuned for more!

Freshman hallway! 💚
We’ll be posting a hallway each day, so be sure to tune in tomorrow to see the sophomore hallway!
Happy Homecoming Week!

October 10th is The Great Apple Crunch Day, which is an opportunity to encourage everyone to eat apples as a snack and to support locally grown foods like Ross County apples. Ms. Kline's Family and Consumer Sciences class celebrated Apple Crunch with OSU Extension. Lisa Barlage and Ryan Kline, both FCS educators, spoke to the students about apples and conducted a lab with them. Students made Green Monster Smoothies, Apple Nachos, Apple Bacon Grilled Cheese, and Nut Butter and Apple Pockets.

Congratulations to Chillicothe Primary School and Chillicothe Intermediate School on receiving the State PBIS Bronze Recognition Award for the 2023/2024 School Year!

Join us tonight at the O for Kick for the Cure!

We'd like to thank all of our custodians and maintenance workers for keeping our buildings clean and running. It is because of you that our students have a clean and safe environment to learn in, and our teachers have a welcoming environment to teach!
If you see your custodians out and about today, be sure to thank them!

Good afternoon, we continue to be without power at the Chillicothe 7-12 building. Unfortunately we will need to postpone the 2 PM showing of Hadestown teen edition. We are still going to attempt a 7:30 PM show based on AEP's projected restoration time. If we are unable to have the 7:30 show, we will look to reschedule for the future.

Due to the weather conditions and high winds, tonight’s football game has been rescheduled for Saturday, September 28, at 11AM!

Need something to do this week or weekend? Come see Chillicothe High School Drama Department’s performance of “Hadestown: Teen Edition”! The performers, crew, directors, and tech have been working tirelessly to bring you an amazing show!

Congratulations Kiera Archer on breaking the single game goal record, with an incredible 7 goals against Hillsboro!

Mr. Grow’s class used a Van De Graaff generator to show the flow of electrons in static electricity. We love a fun and interactive lesson! ⚡️
